I am a wife, mother and friend. I love working out, eating fresh-healthy food, dancing and learning. If I could I would have a farm that included alpacas, hairy cows and lots of chickens (maybe sometime in the future). I recently became a mother and am excited about this journey to continue to educate myself and make quality choices for my family to help them thrive. I have worked hard to understand my body and I continue to strive for balance in my life. In my past I have over-exercised, counted calories, tried weight watchers, tried low-fat diets, used running as my method of weight loss and on and on, it was exhausting and didn’t last. Now, I try to live by a 85/15 rule of eat clean, train smart 85% of the time and 15% of the time is left for enjoying life’s little things like brownies and good wine. I feel stronger, healthier and better than I’ve ever felt with eating real, whole foods and incorporating fitness into my life.
