Berries, Mint & Balsamic Vinegar

You may think this sounds completely strange to advise someone to add vinegar to your bowl of fruit, however, I promise you that it will set your taste buds soaring like you wouldn’t believe! This is a great recipe for any summer gathering or a refreshing after dinner treat.

Here’s what you’ll need:
1 cup washed, sliced strawberries
1 cup washed blueberries
1 cup washed raspberries
Fresh mint leaves, finely minced
2-4 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

Directions:
Keep the berries in the fridge until you are ready to make the berry mix. After you have washed and cut your berries, in a bowl add the mint. Get a couple of tongs or a spoon to mix while you pour the balsamic in. Best when served cold.

Additional add-ins:
Sliced almonds
Chopped walnuts
Sliced bananas can be a good swap for the raspberries

I’ve also used an orange vinegar with strawberries and sliced bananas and it was quite delightful as well!
