Collard Greens Made Easy

Collard Greens is an easy and quick side dish to any meal. Adding different seasonings will be helpful to make it the creation that you want to be a tasty dish for you and your family.

Here’s what I used:
1 bunch of collard greens (rinse and cut off the ends)
1 TBSP Dried onions
1 Tsp Sea salt
Small wedge of lemon to squeeze
1 TBSP Extra virgin olive oil

In a pan, steam the collard greens with water (about 1/4 cup) with a lid for about 5-6 minutes on low/medium low heat. Once it starts to turn darker green, remove the lid, drain the water and place back on the stove. Add in extra virgin olive oil, sea salt & dried onions cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve and squeeze on a bit of lemon (optional).
